after years of social work and activism i finally decided to start Bahujan Queer Party, social work failed to bring substantial difference or structural change. on 13th of september 2024 i released the logo and manifesto points for BQP (the rainbow fist coming out of a lotus). i went to Azad Samaj Party (94, North Avenue, Delhi) mainly to meet Chandrashekhar Azad and ask him for his mentorship in my journey but met multiple senior leaders instead which resulted in me joining Azad Samjh Party officially and also came in contact with multiple Bhim Army (Delhi) leaders.
early october i announced my purpose of entry to politicis and started contacting multiple activists and politicians, most of my attempts (political) failed as i am pro-palestine and i was rejected a mere meetings because of the things i was writing on my social media which stood at 24K+ followers. i started aggressively speaking against BNS Section 63 (IPC377) which did not and still doesn’t recognise rape of a person with penis (trans excl.) &Â filed multiple cyber crime cases.
connected with multiple grassroot activists who were actively working for the Bahujan & Queer communities around delhi, actively started assisting multiple survivours & vitims with paperwork, survery, research & connections. i also gave in my 100% to start a Bahujan & Queer oreinted co-working + shelter in Hauz Khas Village and also announced i will be contesting for elections from Okhla vidhan sabha.Â
got in touch with several journalist to learn more, possibly get mentored and understand politics better and also connected with several more activists to initate a movement againt BNS Section 63. on december 15 i protested and walked from Jamia to Sansad. nobody came so i walked alone the entire way. landlord of he co-working space started harrasing, racially abusing and eventually created a scene for me to take Delhi Police assistance (ACP Sarojini Nagar) which led to me losing our space. i failed miserably, lost the shelter cum co-working, was alone in protesting, shamed by multiple people on field.
the new year started with hope and a letter to Arvind Kejriwal to ask him to make me contest from AAP Okhla. on 7 January i went on a protest with a fellow activist and protested around high security areas in central delhi, the constitution club, congress youth office, womens press club, jantar mantar, sansad bhavan, IIT delhi, saket court, broke into jagran headquarters, multiple media houses, colleges, offices around noida and delhi. demonstrated in multiple marketplaces : sarojini nagar market, kalkaji market, malviya nagar market, cannought place. 16 of january i officially enrolled for MLA elections from 54-Okhla as an independent candidate and took oath on the constitution recieving the election symbol “chimta” (tongs) under serial number 13. on 21 of January the election commission of india apologised for not considering arrangements & requested requirements infront of all the other candidates, news and media. i then with my election agent started our campaign for Okhla distributing pumplates, meeting thousands of people and covering multiple severaly damaged civic, infrastructure and social issues where multiple of our videos went viral. 30 January i assisted fellow activists who were detained because of a protest againt Arvind Kejriwal.
me and my election agent successfully covered multiple areas in Okhla which needed attention. on 3rd of February Feminist India interviewed me for my campaign. 5 February i casted my vote to myself. 8th February i lost the MLA elections with 270 votes and hand delivered a love letter to Mr. Amanatuallah Khan for the betterman of my constituency. 11 February we went to Bawana to investigate a male rape & murder case and assured assistance to the family. i gave 3 interviews to make people aware of the case and tried my best for the victim’s family to get significant media attention which was successful as multiple news clips went viral which fueled Delhi Police to arrest 2 out of 5 suspects. 23 of February we protested at Jantar Mantar for Arvy, Kintan who were victims of Bullying. we also filed 42 RTIs towards Delhi Police and Multiple Police HQs around india for rape cases of Queer and Men where we successfully are now allowed to check record rooms (head logs) in any police station in Delhi and several others across India. started covering the Garbage Crisis in Okhla.
2nd of march was a protest at Jantar Mantar demanding justice for Manoj. sadly only me, an activist and Manoj’s brothers came in for the protest but Manoj’s case was further pushed to the Prime Minister, Home Minister and Law Minister.
